In the USA, paracetamol is called Tylenol and is available over the counter. Most grocery stores and chemists have their house brand, they are all the same.

Concur, heartily. And of course the thing is we HAVE to do it for ourselves. Unlike in the two world wars, there IS NO ONE who can come to our rescue. We sink or swim by our own effort. AND if we help each other that effort will be multiplied and we will get to safe shore sooner and with friends

I think it's starting to dawn on that group of people that there IS something useful they can do, and it's not very hard, and it will make a real difference! Let's continue to be encouraging and sustainably enthusiastic.

The WHOLE POINT of the Federal Reserve Bank is to BE independent of political swings. And surely to goodness the craziness of the current US administration makes it obvious that people who are not professional economists need to be kept away from the levers of financial mechanisms!!!

Honestly I think this is a truly bad idea. YES they are affected by what's voted in or out, and YES it's great to develop the voting habit early - but this age group is SO easily targeted on social media! Their judgment is in the process of being formed, in thought and in neurology.

I go with Buy Nothing Day, to be honest. The only time I tried driving any distance on the day after Thanksgiving, to visit a friend the other side of the city, I got rear-ended at 5 mph.
