Very insightful. The Republican mid-term convention in 2026 seems an apropos time to do just that.

Might be a good time to remind people who haven't read "How Hitler Dismantled a Democracy in 53 Days" by Timothy W. Ryback in The Atlantic to do so. The January 8, 2025 article is enlightening...and frightening. Here's a currently relevant section.

That's OK. Let the chucklefuckers stay on X and yell into the void. I'm enjoying having another blue sky day.

Might be easier to have someone skilled in programming to scrape the Amazon Best Sellers pages of current prices and compare weekly/monthly to see what changes.

No surprising. There's another simple way to know when Amazon prices increase. Amazon lists its Amazon Best Sellers with the prices on the site. If there's an intrepid programmer out there who could automate the price lists and show any increases, we would really PO Trump and his press secretary.

Brilliant. As a comparison: March 2017.

Instead of asking “What Democrat…,” we should be asking what type of leader the Democrats need in ‘28.

This is the definition of courage. This brave lady at the Bemidji, MN Hands Off! rally sat in cold, windy weather to protest against the Trump administration.

If you’re not ready to fight for freedom, you’re willing to live without it.

The question should be what type of leader our country will need once Trump is gone, not what type of politician. Look north. Canada just answered that question for themselves.

Is there an organization that can provide boilerplate letters we can send to our Minnesota Congressmen about NIH funding?

If you lived in northwest Minnesota like I do and visit the hospital, you'd see how many Trump voters are directly impacted by the economics of this. Very poor health outcomes up here. Greater Minnesota is often an after thought when economic issues are considered for Minnesota.

It's appropriate that in 50 years, when history books reveal how terrible a human being and president Trump was - but how great a criminal - that this will be the photograph that accompanies his legacy.
