I made these knitting patterns of the RV Sonne and hydrographic measuring station Spiekeroog for a little joke. I am now really tempted to try it for real, although I haven't knit anything in years 😅All it needs is a little adjustment for the measuring station and it'll be good to go...

Have been thinking a lot about art and science communication lately and ways to incorporate data into pictures. Ended up with this one.
It's not just the climate stripes but I managed to get some Arctic sea ice minimum extent in as well ^^
