I read Honey in the Marrow by Emily Waters when it first came out, and loved it. I’m always a bit worried about listening to a book I loved to read, but should have known Anastasia Watley would do an incredible job.

This is amazing!

I just finished Poppy Jenkins, and am starting Caught Sleeping (by Jen Lyon).

I just finished reading Poppy Jenkins by the incredibly talented @clareashton.bsky.social. It warmed my heart.

Poppy is a woman with a beautiful soul, living in beautiful Mid Wales. I don’t think it’s possible to read this book and not fall in love with both Poppy and Wales, just a little bit.

I’m finally reading Poppy Jenkins by Clare Ashton. I’m about 45% of the way through, and I’m loving it.

Read this book!!

@kcluck-author.bsky.social has written an amazing story with layered, interesting characters. I became invested in the relationship between Saxon (the vampire) and Faye.

For anyone who loves women’s college basketball, this was the place to be today. More than 55,000 fans watching Iowa vs. DePaul in an exhibition game. All proceeds went to U of Iowa Hospital.

It was so much fun!!!

I know it’s been out for years, but I just finished listening to Hunter’s Way by Gerri Hill, narrated by Abby Craden. It is excellent, and I’m looking forward to the sequels!

I would love to go someday.

Our 15-year-old rescue mutt, Rowan. How is this more comfortable than being fully in the cushion?

Joan and I are going to pick up our 16-year-old Tia’s ashes this afternoon. My goodness, I miss her.
