Say what I like and like what I bloody well say !!!
Maybe the key to that statement is the fact at least 2 of the coaches during that good run are at the club anymore 🤔

Been in and out the team all season, but may be injury related

Wrexham would have to fund some/ all of his wages. But as others have said he is a horrid player but if he wears the black and white he'd be our horrid player.

Absolutely

There would also be arguments by clubs likely to be in Europe and EPL and Championship clubs who are more likely to benefit from ET wins. Can't 100% please everyone but it would be a halfway house solution that goes some way to appeasing both sides

Not sure about that I mean we were third in the league and in a cup semi final. Something these owners don't do is shirk big decisions. But we'll never know, I was just trying to make a point of cup games are great opportunities for players to get used to high pressure one off knockout games

My honest assessment is we should have won the trophy the year we changed from Ardley to Burchnall and that would have given the players that winning mentality going into what was a disappointing play off campaign. Equally likely to get injured in training as a game imo

Wrexham Chesterfield and Borehamwood all did well the season they had good cup runs. It's why I hated this agenda of go out the cup, concentrate on the league rubbish by a lot of fans. Cup games prep you for high pressure play off games imo

That's Sam Shatterface for ya. The one commentator who makes Darren Fletcher sound professional

I would still say they were, Crawley weren't that far behind them but both ended in the playoffs, one of em going up!!
It's why it was a missed opportunity to at least get playoffs last season. Same reason I think not getting autos this season would be a missed opportunity based on what I've seen

Ditto my answer, Grimsby at the time were very poor, on a par with the poorest team we've played this season. Which shows if we could string together a good set of results we'd pull clear. This league is poor compared to last season imo

My point was can't remember beating a side who WERE in the top 10 the time. Equally we lost to Gillingham who were near the top and I said at the time it was a bad result bc they were not a top 7 side imo. Results since appear to be supporting that opinion 😉

Fully take your point about not being 'battered' but not once have we actually beaten a side in a top 10 position for a very long time. Which we'll have to do at least twice to get promoted that way. Long way to go and who knows what 2025 will bring and it could well depend on our form at the time

I'd be extremely happy with 9 but would take 7 in the current climate. Less than that and the gaps start changing above and below us. Anything more than 9 would be a triumph given the health of our attacking areas right now

It's not about who's right or wrong, everyone should be able to share their opinion and voice whatever they like albeit not abusive. Even if that narrative is incorrect end of the season the landscape of the team, the approach and the wider league will have changed several times.

I'll call in if I get there early enough
