In my opinion it’s not just about being real fans.Some countries,like ours(Myanmar), don’t even get the option to choose dubs.The only choice we have is pirated translations with Burmese subtitles.A lot of people face this issue.Even if we want to watch anime,we can’t because of language barriers.
