I’m gagging as I listen to the whitewashing (apropos, no?) of Kirk as someone open to debate, in favor of free speech, etc. This on MSNBC. No mention of his many hateful stances. I’m sorry he was killed (“martyr”) but he was no saint. The far right is saying “he is in Heaven now.” Barf.

I’d be curious to see any analysis of what type of response is seen from Republicans and “conservatives” after, for example, the assassination of the Democratic Minnesota representative and her husband. When it’s a far-right zealot who gets killed, they blame “liberals” before they know anything.
