Lincoln is blue. (Blue mayor and city council) The surrounding areas are red. The district includes enough of the surrounding areas that a R always wins. Omaha is more purple although they just elected a Democratic mayor!

Aren’t we on the same side? I too wish the state party had better leadership and more successes. I’ve done my share of volunteering to try to make that happen. What are you doing??

And exactly what are we supposed to focus our energy on? Rounding up hardworking people at work or civically minded people at their court hearings? No thanks. I’ll continue holding on to our blue dot and do what I can to save our democracy.

Bacon’s district did NOT vote for Trump. Under state law, Nebraska’s electoral college votes go to the winner of each congressional district. Kamala and NOT Trump got the one electoral college vote from Nebraska #2. The Blue Dot is alive and well!!

Trump didn’t win in Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District (that includes Omaha.) Nebraska splits its electoral college votes by congressional districts so while Nebraska went for Trump, Omaha most certainly did NOT. The Blue Dot is alive and well!
