Kauai-I took all the pictures with the mini sock monkey when we were there, because Q wasn’t with us, so we would text him or my mom the pictures and told him whenever he saw the sock monkey, it was because we were thinking of him.

Oh to be loved and to have people to acknowledge my being. To be someone that people like and want to be around. To be able to be a hopeful voice in a world filled with pain. To be more than I am, to have a full table, filled with people that love and care for each other. To not be talked over or around. To believe my life has any meaning. To be remembered kindly when I die. To not always be in pain. To actually matter at all in the scheme of things. To want to live. These things seem impossible.
