Well I ended up adding red licorice that I had as I was too lazy to go to the store…
Very novice baker’s, Buche de Noel with chocolate for bark, spearmint leaves for hedges and a fairy door with a red licorice sidewalk. We will all be drunk by the time I bust this out at the party so it’ll probably look awesome to them. I know it’ll taste good 👍 Happy Winter solstice! Happy Yule!

Buche De Noel for a Yule party I’m headed too. I added this attempt with a fairy door. I am far from a baker. Now trying to figure out what type of candy I can use for a sidewalk leading from the door..
Buche de Noel Yule log with chocolate bark and candy spearmint leaves lining the outside like hedges to a home with an opening to an attempt of a fairy door in the log. Still incomplete by a super amateur baker just trying to make something special for the longest night of the year. Good thing it will be dark by the time we eat it.

Walnut Kolache baking complete.
Two Kolache rolls with walnut filling cool on wire rack. A plum and gold table runner can be seen underneath the golden bread rolls. Dreams of morning coffee with a slice of walnut heaven will likely me have extra drool on the pillow tonight and have me up early in the morning.

Pedestrian Tunnel beneath Watkins Glen Motor Speedway. A cylindrical tunnel with ribbed metal walls, with leaves and dirt lining sides of walkway leading to a bright light at the end of the tunnel…. Kind of like a Slinky has a existential crisis and became a walkway where every step feels like a sci-fi wormhole, but instead of leading to aliens you just end up at a concession stand with overpriced nachos and $10 beers.

A black tuxedo cat and a tortoiseshell cat (Vader and Ahsoka) balance on windowsill as a bamboo blind is only lifted up just enough for them to view the goings on of the outside world. Lots of chatter from Vader occurred shortly thereafter

My cat Ahsoka “blurps” she rarely does a true “meow”🐱
She does it a lot and it’s adorable.
She has trained us well because of it. It’s such a sweet sound

I wonder how differently I would feel if it was a true meow.

Unlike Apple Maps at least with Google Maps I could change the label to read Gulf of Mexico for my eyes instead.
Google maps image of Gulf of America where I edited Label to adjust back to Gulf of Mexico. Basically it will show Both Labels but Gulf Of Mexico is in larger font.
