Croissant has a character counter, but I haven’t read anything yet that addresses the issue you mentioned. Maybe you could create the post in Croissant, and post it separately to BlueSky and then the others, using Croissant as your draft.

I think Croissant is an app that cross posts. Haven’t checked it out yet. MacStories likes it.

I believe it was 18.0 or 18.1, but not 18.2. Hard to remember when you’ve been on betas for months.
