Facilities management doesn't trust us to set the AC to a reasonable level on our own... They failed to account for our willingness to violate safety rules to get the AC to turn on and get us to a reasonable temperature.

And this is the much older suburb I lived in for 6 years while going to college. Mix of single family, duplex, triplex, and small apartment complexes, lots of stores and businesses. I was within a 10 minute walk of 3 convenience stores, 4 restaurants, and a 20 min walk to a light rail station.

This is the suburbs I grew up in. A few islands of not single family homes in an ocean of single family homes.
