Ran/walked 5 ankle hating miles at Garlo Heritage Nature Preserve. Saying that, I enjoyed the run/walk, reading the signs, looking at the massive white oaks, and stopped for lots of playful deer. The ruts are bad, very bad for running, and the horse riders don’t seem to like it.
During my flight today; a guy and lady met and hit it off. The laughed & talked throughout the flight. The guy ask if she has a connection, she said yes, then asked her to dinner. It got awkward. She said you’re half my age, he protested. She said no. He pouted. I finally turned around & chuckled.

Got my Covid vaccine today. I believe in facts and peer reviewed data; for those that don’t, I’ll let you know if I find nefarious trackers in me.

I asked my bartender for the check but he brought me a cheesecake. That made me rather happy.

I visited structural steel fabrication facilities in Quebec today. These guys are pissed about the tariffs that the president has arbitrarily placed on them. I told them that most of the Americans do not like or approve what this guy is doing but it is what it is. We’ll get back to that eventually.

I recommend everyone read that letter. Even if you don't know much about the law, it's abundantly clear what's going on and is clear-eyed about the moment. We need more of this from those in the agencies and departments being compromised.
The Danielle Sassoon letter to AG Bondi is wow.

Ran 3 1/3 afternoon miles around town. Was a bit off today and yet I’m very glad I got outside in this windy and chilly day. I hope you guys have a great day.

6.2 miles of exploring, getting lost, and finally finding my footing at a state park I’ve not run before. Ran at Van Buren State Park not too far away from me. I’m sure I’ll be there much more. I ran in shorts with sunshine. It was a good run.

Our Lady Liberty standing strong. We must defend her and the message she has for all non native peoples. This photo was taken over the construction wall at Battery Park.

So my fingers warmed up at about mile 1 1/2 then all of me was good on this mornings 4 mile run. Was 19* with 15 MPH wind, not too bad. Hopefully, I’ll get my long run later this week. I hope you have a great day!

So yesterday I had a bad day. Nothing terrible but the day was like getting a paper cut numerous times throughout the day. Today was like full sunshine all day long. I find that when I have bad days I go to sleep setting that yuck in a lockbox never to be opened. It works!

Two welcome laps of slow running around Steyer Nature preserve this morning. First lap was slow to get to know the park again, second lap was more of a trot. It’s nice to get the trails again. I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Super Bowl Sunday.
