We believe that to help others isn't a fiscal priority - it is a moral priority. And on the 5th anniversary of the death of John Lewis, we set out to make Good Trouble Live On.

We believe that what makes America great is our Constitution is based on democracy and the freedom to speak out when our elected officials are not listening to the will of the people. We believe that when we welcome immigrants and education and discourse that we have a strong future.

We came together in unity to stand up against genocide and racism and xenophobia and hate. We came together to demonstrate that we support each other and believe that what makes us better is a supportive community.

I stood with college professors, trans people and older adults. We marched with people in wheelchairs, parents who have lost children at the hands of police officers and students who are unsure of their ability to pay for their education.
