If you reduce both to these very simple terms, they’re comparable, but not with any utility. The issue with those who decry climate reporting’s use of numbers is not just that they decry it, it’s that they ignore what the numbers indicate. That’s not the case with the economy

All the evidence I’ve seen is of clear indiscriminate killing of civilians. Like I’ve said, there’s nothing productive to be gained here by my saying I’ve seen evidence that patently fits the criteria for war crimes and condemning it, and you denying it they’ve occurred and refusing to condemn

If they were targeting Hamas combatants, but you have to stretch the meaning of the word ‘targeting’ beyond breaking point to describe how Israel is flattening Gaza. We’re talking in circles here, this conversation is going nowhere productive

Is it only Hamas reporting deaths? Gaza’s Health Ministry has reported deaths, and have historically been found to be largely correct. Will you take their word for it, or is no Arab to be trusted?
