Gen 2 really has no overarching plot over than Team Rocket running amok again but I think that's to its benefit. The most immersive n chill pokemon world is the one where everything's grounded. Playing through the singleplayer feels like wearing socks fresh out the dryer

I have about 300 hours in TOTK and every few months I pick it up again and blitz through another week binge. They put straight crack in the gameplay loop. I wish they made more games like this, so similar to BOTW but exceeds it in literally every way. Only thing touching TOTK is maybe Far Cry 3.
