At Koerner Hall to see Cecile McLorin’s tribute to Oscar Peterson, who would have turned 100 this year.
If I had my way, Peterson would be on one of our bills, and there would be more statues, murals and celebrations of him right across this country

One reason I love Wolfe Island so much is there are more cows than people (and Percy loooves the cows)
I’ll never understand the cottage as social scene. If I wanted neighbours and people visiting, I’d stay home

Spent the past week on Wolfe Island. Finished a bunch of books. Question 7 by Richard Flanagan might be the best thing I’ve read in years. Incredible
