Youngsters from two Money for Madagascar-backed children’s centres got their hands dirty – literally – as they learnt to create an eco-friendly fuel.

It was mucky work, but fun. And it helped the youngsters protect the Malagasy forests.

We are looking for a project manager, who will lead our work with Malagasy schools, their staff, and our consortium partners in SUM to help Malagasy children access reliable electricity produced from solar power.

French president Emmanuel Macron arrives in Antananarivo this afternoon for the first bilateral visit to Madagascar since 2005.
But his talks with Malagasy president Andry Nirina Rajoelina may well include disagreement over strategic Indian Ocean islands.

We are delighted to share the progress on the building of the new Akany Avoko Bevalala AAB Boys’ Centre Dormitory.
The dormitory will have sleeping space for 48 boys (six bedrooms each for eight boys), an increase of 14 places on the 34 in the previous centre.
