I made Pong in under a week in Unreal Engine. The base gameplay stuff took longer than I thought it would. I just finished the AI Paddle today. It works, but it could be better. I might spend another week adding more things to this game. #screenshotsaturday #gamedev #indiegame #unrealengine

Here's gameplay of my Intergalactic Baseball batter training minigame. The goal is to hit enough targets to earn 100 points. Missing the targets causes the player to be electrocuted. If health reaches 0, it's game over. This stage is a tough one. #indiegame #indiedev #unrealengine

Right now, the AI batter is scripted to just swing whenever the ball is in the batter's line of sight. I am still using Pawn Sensing AI in 2024 lol. Maybe this will motivate me to start learning newer AI methods in Unreal Engine. #indiedev #gamedev

Several months ago, I experimented with pitching for my Intergalactic Baseball game, but I originally abandoned it because I couldn't think of a fun mini-game mode for it. Today I tried giving it another shot by trying to make a simple AI batter. #indiedev #gamedev
