I'm fairly creative, but just got back into specifically writing creatively, and it's amazing! I also paint, cross stitch, etc, but writing has always had a special place in my heart.

This is a great way to break it down. 8K words a month feels monumental, but when you break it down by day, it seems much more doable.

Dat is geweldig, gefeliciteerd! Waar gaat je boek over? Mijn excuses als mijn Nederlands niet zo goed is, ik gebruik een vertaalprogramma om dit te schrijven :-D

My oldest learned cursive in...second grade? Maybe third? I don't remember for sure, but it's still being taught in some places.

I write professionally for my day job, but at the corporate level (policies, procedures, etc.). I haven't written creatively in probably 25 years, except the occasional essay. I'm trying to write a novel and my goal is to finish the first draft by the end of 2026!

I did that this morning. I realized that in my prologue, my characters aren't who I thought they were. I love it when a character changes things for me :-D
