But srsly. Very nice beans ☺️ spouse got these for my birthday. First time trying Methodical, but I’ve seen them recommended a lot, and they live up to the hype.

Nothing fancy (altho they do have several funky roasts too), just a great, clean cup of coffee with the flavors exactly as advertised.

Two recent coffee acquisitions:

Pie Face! A deliciously sweet (if not exactly subtle) banana/cinnamon co-ferment blend from Traffic out of Montreal. Literally tastes like a cinnamon roll.

M-03 Horchata from Brainwave. Haven’t tried this one yet, but the tasting notes sold me immediately.

Wow, okay. These are probably my favorite beans I’ve tried so far. An absolutely ✨ incredible ✨ co-ferment by Hydrangea.

Just opening the bag you get hit with this delicious smell of earthy coffee, bright citrus (but nice and clean, not like, idk, a hand soap or sth), and just a hint of coconut.

Folks… I am SO excited to try these. They’ve been on my list for months (almost since the beginning of my pour-over coffee journey), and I was finally able to get some. I really hope these deliver lol 😅

New beans! This roaster has a sort of mystic/creepy vibe going—the box included a cool card, the typewriter font makes the bag look like something out of Indiana Jones or something, there are a bunch of allusions to cosmic horror on their website, things like that. Kinda digging it!
