like it's really sinking in how much i simply am not allowed to have an emotion or an opinion they don't like or disagree with because it's immediately taken as a slight. instead of... how i feel.

like sure maybe we can be friends again eventually! i don't exactly want to lose an 11 year friendship, but right now i'm still reeling from having asked what's going on MULTIPLE TIMES since september and then LYIJG TO MY FACE. i'm a bit upset about being left to twist on the hook like that, yeah.

to be fair we did have a conversation, it was just: "i don't want to be in a romantic relationship with you." "are you willing to try couples therapy?" "no. i don't want to."

you'd think after eleven years i'd get the courtesy of a conversation or at least told when things are a problem before they get to this point, but apparently that's a silly thing to expect!
