Wait, Ring ni Kakero is finally getting English scans? I've been wanting to read it for years (already read Saint Seiya, B't X, and Saint Seiya: Next Dimension).

Yeesh, that's just wild. Like...Kurumada was a successful mangaka long before Saint Seiya, and I'd argue he's had some gems after.

It'd be like trying to claim Dragon Ball's success was due to a specific writer or director on the anime despite Toriyama having had Dr. Slump as a big hit beforehand.

I'm also seeing of the quotes to that post going with some variation of "Just quit, Kurumada", which is just so messed up. The man is literally continuing to make more Saint Seiya, after having literally no ongoing manga for the first time in 25 years, & people will STILL complain.

It's incredibly sad. Kurumada is legit the real world version of that Shonen protagonist being treated like crap and told to give up, but always persevering through pure will.

The entire team is designed to max out manga Goku's potent passive, and their leaderskill is pretty good for a surprisingly cheap to summon team. Apparently it's going to be a 30 stone banner, with three guaranteed featured units per multi if I understand it right. So, pretty easy to get them all.

...Does that include Carol's lesbian kiss in college? Because that will make for quite the conversation with Joyce.
