Hollowed
A very close up black and white photo of a wooden pillar. On the left side is bold light from the sun (white in color) with black shadows of vines from a honeysuckle that are project onto the pillar. The shadows are quite random, which make the light areas (white in color) very jagged and random shapes. A lot of the shadows are slanting up at different angles. Down the middle is a complete black shadow and the in the lower middle is a rounded area that looks like a hollow hole in a tree. On the right side there is texture of wood grain that runs vertical from the top to bottom that is a subtle grey that isn't as bold as the left side. The wood grain curves around the rounded area in the middle making it look like a hollow hole in a tree.

This year I'm going to do everything I haven't done with my transition (and more) that I should have done sooner. From things I've always wanted to do, to things I've stopped doing that I want to get back into.

(Not in any particular order)

The rock is sitting close to the edge of the journal slightly above the middle. My favorite rock is a very smooth black basalt rock that's shaped slightly like a heart. The rock is one and a half inches tall and wide. A black ribbon bookmark from the spine of the journal goes up off the top of the edge of the photo. At the top of the right side page it reads "Everything I want to do with my transition (and more)". A line is skipped below that. A list is formed below the skipped like with a checkboxes before each item I want to do. The list reads from top to bottom: • Pierce my ears • Pierce my nose • Go thrifting more often (hopefully with others) • Dress more how I want and not be afraid to • Get new glasses that work with my face • Start practicing eye makeup • Consistently keep doing makeup • Paint my nails more often like I used to • Try styling my hair in different ways • Start voice training again (3rd time now) and keep up with it • start laser / electrolysis hair removal • recreate a scenario from childhood (this would fix me) • finally go to pride or do anything during pride month • go swimming again (only have gone 2 times since transitioning) • change my room to be more me • I want to have friends • I would like to hangout with people. I want to go do things and experience stuff not just be by myself all the time (this and the one above are actually at the very top for me) • go to my favorite spot again. I miss it and haven't been there in almost 2 years (I would love to share it with everyone. So hopefully take people with me when I go) • keep making art

Torn apart
A dark black and white photo looking close up at a piece of sandpaper. At some point the sandpaper was crumpled and scratched up from use. The scratches are all over but mainly start from the center and reach out towards the edges of the sandpaper. The scratches are highlighted in white as well as the texture of the sandpaper. Everything else is shades of black. There is a good sized chunk ripped out at the bottom right of the sandpaper.

Was looking quite pretty after crying a lot a couple days ago. Wasn't expecting that to be my update of how I look now lol
