Mushrooms strained and squeezed for every bit of moisture I could get out of them. I had to do the wringing in batches. Wish I had a press for that part.
Now I need to boil half of it away and bottle it when it's cooled.

Mushrooms spiced and simmered. Now they need to cool well enough that I can wring them out. 🍄

They've been cleaned, crushed, and salted. Now they need to sit overnight as the salt pulls the moisture out of them.

I NABBED THE PIGEON AND I REMOVED THE THREAD FROM ITS TOE!
After removing the thread I sprayed some disinfectant on its feet.
I don't know if this was in time to save its toe. I hope so.

This is my cat Smokey who sadly had to stay with my ex in the states. She still sends me pictures, tho these were all taken by me.
He was the sweetest cat I'd ever known. Very much a "human cat". Always loved being around us.
I miss him terribly.

I kinda missed having my face on my account. Felt strange in a way that's hard to describe. I like showing who I am.
I also feel like people were noticing my posts less after changing it.

These are the best pictures I could get of a tiny kruisspin (translates to cross spider), aka European garden spider, aka Araneus diadematus.
This one is only 3mm long. Males can grow up to 13mm, and females get as big as 20. The massive abdomens of an adult female are quite striking!
