In the end, the only people who should be using Windows at this point are those who don't have a choice because of software compatibility. Even I keep an SSD with a special long term support version of Windows 10 *just* for FL Studio, but that's *it*.
For anything else, I have Debian.

As of today I've been using Debian as my main OS for a whole year, and I cannot express how much better Unix-like systems are compared to the Windows way of Using A Computer. It's not even close.
Won't even get into the FOSS or telemetry aspects, too many things to mention so I'll just do a few...

Not even joking, feel like I tried every popular recommended monospace font and they all have *something* about them that feels off. If it's not a squished @ then it's a %, or a ~ that barely squiggles.

Short clip of mine. Here I get invaded a while ago, she knew I had to be in this room and set up mines at the exit but their sound clues me in so I open the door carefully and detonate them. Her scream tells me she's right there and just took a bunch of damage so I take the opportunity and rush her.

Tried hyprland for almost a month, switched to Sway a week ago. Not as fancy and eye-grabbing but at least it actually *works* (drag and drop, context menus, etc).

Also I recently upgraded my poor old GTX 750Ti to an RX 6600, and changed my i5 6400 for a Ryzen 5 5600X and oh my fucking god it was about time. I can't believe I did 27 playthroughs of Dishonored 2 on minimum settings since 2017, it's like seeing clearly for the first time now. Look at this shit?!

Just managed to get my Steam library from the big NTFS SSD working on Debian without a hitch. It's so over for Windows 10 on this machine...
