Sadly today the Brewers will lay down for the Reds. No matter the outcome for the Mets this will go down in history as a lost season.

Ziele told the story in pregame. Mets had the best offensive month in their history in August with an .866 team OPS and went 11-17. In other words the pitching has been abysmal.

Lindor, Soto, Alonso & Nimmo have had great offensive years. What’s the difference from last year? The pitching. Mets set record on number of different pitchers used. Poor results with trade deadline deals. Mets situation & record fall on David Stearns, not Carlos Mendoza. Hope we still get in #LGM
