My grandfather was a NY Giants fan, then a Mets from ‘62 onward. My dad had the pleasure of the Mets winning their 1st World Series on his birthday. My mom loved Shea Stadium more than any other sports venue. I don’t know if I had a choice in my favorite team, but I wouldn’t want it any other way.
