Had a great week at work.
1) argued against chopping a colleague's position and won
2)Just as everyone was afraid of missing our annual procurement targets, I closed two deals saving us 1.7 and 1 million each. Job done for the year.
(I think I lucked out but my partner says it's impostor syndrome)

Your opening line is highly tricky.
"The already-bleak prospect for former President Donald Trump of avoiding a federal trial early in the new year got a little bleaker..."
A simple switch of "for" with "of", could lead to a wildly different reading!

You know that Black Friday (or any other "-day" event) is dead when you see: Black Friday Specials: Available to Dec 4.
I'm old enough to remember when Black Friday was all about scarcity and rewarding the few lucky souls that toughed it out.
If a deal is available to all - it's no deal.

Done. It's not much but hope every little helps. Keep up the good work.

It's the "perception is reality" school of journalism.
This adage may work for marketing but it's disastrous for factual reporting.

Someone. somewhere really wants to impose Gym onto the GOP caucus. Question is who and why and why now? Also, given it is super unlikely to happen now, where will the next pivot point to?
