At RMetS, we believe every student should leave school with a basic climate literacy. In March 2025, we worked with subject bodies to create a nationwide Curriculum for Climate Literacy, supporting future education. Learn more here:

The 2023/2024 DfE Climate Literacy Survey of school leavers shows that only 22% of responders thought there is over 80% scientific consensus about anthropogenic climate change, whereas studies show the consensus is over 97%.
