Agreed ... the only two steel nibs I still use are the Platinum Preppy and the TWSBI Eco ... very nice pens!

I do not have journal-worthy thoughts but I enjoy it all the same.

The Platinum Preppy is inexpensive and good! Good nib for the price anyway.

I have both and prefer the ECO. I think some of this is a personal aesthetic choice. The ECO's ink capacity is greater and it comes with its own maintenance tools. Both pens handle difficult inks well in my experience (e.g., inks with shimmer or dual tone).

This ink has big fireball energy for sure. Thanks for the recommendation!
