OMG. I totally missed the reference to the Kiwanis stand. One of my favorite things to stop by on Saturday while going to Bethany Breach. The best chicken. Right at the turn to the beach.

@kevinmkruse.bsky.social out battle with MD schools got so bad for our 5th grade daughter (autism diagnosis from Kennedy Kreiger) that even after not being successful with hired advocate that after 6 months we just sent her to my parents in MS for a semester. 3 months later, IEP with everything

As a former NOAA employee, the data that Accuweather and Weather Channel use in their forecasts is data that NCEP models for them. They don’t have the ability to handle the raw data inputs if NCEP doesn’t compile the data first.

Everyone has different considerations to take into account. If one doesn’t take it and 2 days later, are RIF’d then what? When they’re willing to put 10k USAID employees on Administrative Leave, how protected can anyone be?

And I’m from North Louisiana (and college in MS) but as my grandmother once told me, once you’ve gone North for a decade (or two) you can longer claim to be a Southerner. I have since transferred my allegiance to Maryland.
