Just started listening to @daringfireball.bsky.social ep 420 with @glennf.com. A 20’ container max payload is 52k lbs, 40’ is 58920 lbs. A ULCV can carry up to 24k 20’ containers. This is 1.386 BILLION iPhones on one Panamax boat, or approx 25 years and 4 months of Apple’s iPhone sales in the US.
