I already know I have attention problems bc of ADHD but man it's kinda fucked up how often both Switch Zelda titles waste your time. Spend 5 minutes getting a chest for it to be a bow that's weaker than what you have or an Opal that will never have any use and a 30sec cutscene to give you 1 Heart

there's a lot more nuance that i can't really jot down into something as concrete as text and i don't really have the brain power or the smarts to really fully articulate it but i think anime has that thing where a 20+ year older crowd goes into it in the same way that smthn like steven universe has

like obviously there's a discussion to be had of like, when you're designing a character as sexy you don't wanna make them 16 or whatever because that's just fucking strange but it's people just doing it for a publication where comics are made to advertise toys to younger crowds

i dont rly know how else to explain this but i've started thinking about how all the time on twitter i'd see some new anime be chalked up for pedophiles and then i'd look at it and be like "this is for 14 year old japanese boys for a genre that is almost entirely dedicated to 14 y/o japanese boys"
