This is why cars are so dangerous in the summer. Just recorded the temp in my car to be 160 °F (~72 °C) after just an hour in the sun.
It was still rising but I took it out cause I didn’t want my weather meter to melt.

This is footage I took in Keaton Beach, Florida, a few months ago, right where hurricane Helene made landfall last year. All the concrete squares I’m driving past were homes that were completely wiped off their foundations. With the former owners now living in temporary mobile homes.
