It's why everyone can take a Heal action in my game to spend a sizeable amount of the round restoring some HP. You can get a healing ability that restores for much more, much quicker.

We also use Dodge and Block as their own reactionary actions, it makes you feel unstoppable and makes combat tense and quick.
