I absolutely loved Nier Automata. It's rare I exhaust absolutely all activities in a game just to spend more time in it, but Nier: A was all about that.
Nier Replicant's remake was okay, but I much preferred to watch that story on Youtube. It's much weaker as a game.

She looks absolutely fantastic, one of the most faithful executions of the character I've ever seen.

It's ultimately a question of values. I've had friends start to slip into holocaust denial, downplaying or denying chattel slavery, dismissing criticisms towards multiple PDF files, and agreeing that refugee seekers should be shot at the border.
The lack of empathy was too much for me.
