hate to tell u this bestie but unfortunately the carbonyl stretch peak just over 2000 cm-1 + the strange bifurcation in the main peak, means u prolly made the cis isomer. (see pubs.acs.org/doi/pdf/10.1...) But also there's a nonzero chance there is a decent amt of trans isomer there too (see paper)

used it as catalyst for kumada coupling :), not sure how effective our 90 min reflux ended up being though. pretty wary of bumping after spinels so it was truly Light as possible. shout out to the dropping funnel + N2 atmosphere for keeping us safe from the grignard reagent (3.0M iPr MgBr on right)
