they’re close in quality for narrative for me, I’m probably more bias towards silent hill, they both stand very strong, both had very original stories and nothing like ive seen so it could go either way imo

100%, I don’t ever complete all achievements on a game naturally, and this was one of the only ones bc I couldn’t stand to not do absolutely everything, I just couldn’t stop playing

The music kept me on edge, was constantly eerie and bothersome, I never knew what to expect going into any room, it was so well done and would love to see more games use it the way they did

Yeah I think they realized pacing was a big issue in the first game so it seemed like fixing that was a big deal for them, it’s quicker to progress the actual story and the action gameplay picks up a lot faster

There are fetch quests but the pacing is infinitely better than the first game, tons more action, story and variety of gameplay throughout the whole game
You CAN get into the loop of fetch quests if you’re obsessive about building all of the roads and unlocking everything, but it’s not as necessary
