As a Superman fan, I loved the last version. It felt more in line with the types of comics I grew up reading. It made gave me a sense of wonder because I always wondered what would happen if he existed in our world. Not seeing his full character arc didn't give him the chance he deserved.

We'll see if being lighthearted and cheesy is better grounded and realistic. I have my doubts.
