Yesterday, my father received his $200 from Doug Ford. My father died last March. Mistake, right? Nope. It's on the Ontario gov't website: We're sending cheques to dead people. How absurd. Imagine what we could do collectively with the $3-billion they're blowing on this shameless vote-buying scheme.

One of the small joys of borrowing a library book is finding something stuck inside—a weird grocery list, or a bookmark from another place, for example. In this case, I hope the parents or grandparents of this child have another copy of their picture. (I put it back in the book when I returned it.)
