Pros:
- The art style is absolutely gorgeous
- No, really, just look at it
- The make quality of the physical edition makes me weep with joy
- Incredibly climactic Nordic horror vibes
- Amazing choice of character classes

Before the world ended in 2020 I used to play in-person games. Since the pandemic I have moved to fully remote games and as much as I like embracing the technology, I miss rolling dice, the tension of watching a 20 edge into a 2 can't be substituted by even the most sophisticated VTT.

Cons:
- Simplicity of the mechanics are a double edged sword, personally I'm not a huge fan of the Year Zero engine
- Very few archetypes (classes) to choose from in the core book
Overall a great system suitable for younger as well as older audiences and great for shorter campaigns!

- The mechanics don't cater for character death, no physical damage can be taken by the kids, so it's a good system for a more RP focussed approach
-There are a lot of Mysteries (adventures) in the officially released books, so as a DM you don't want to homebrew the sessions

D&D is like McDonald's of TTRPGs.
1) Everyone knows it.
2) It'll satiate your hunger.
3) It's easily accessible and it's good at what it does.
HOWEVER
There are systems out there which do things better!
