Microsoft is once again trying to compete not just in premium gaming, but against all of entertainment. They ignore that the premium gaming market, which is absolutely massive, has a natural limit that isn't platform related. It’s huge, but capped. And that’s why they’ll fail over and over again.

Ah, The Outer Worlds 2. It could have been one of the greatest RPGs of all time, but it falls short towards the end due to technical issues, an abrupt finale and uninteresting companions. I still had a blast!

Ah, The Outer Worlds 2. It could have been one of the greatest RPGs of all time, but it falls short towards the end due to technical issues, an abrupt finale and uninteresting companions. I still had a blast!

Ninja Gaiden 4 is an all-out action blast and a worthy successor to one of the greatest game series of all time, even if it plays things a bit too safe at times. My review:

Hollow Knight Silksong is the best worst game I’ve played in years. I almost hated the last 15 hours entirely, but I couldn’t put it down either. From a game design perspective, it’s just flawed. Great enemies though. A shame.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is finally out and I’m really enjoying it too. Still, in some parts it feels more frustrating than fun, which really slows down the experience. It shows why it’s not a good idea to ignore 50 years of game design history:
