Also, looks to me like this game has a super aggressive asset streaming system, and that the keu setting is ‘background model detail’

or because of DirectStorage, or because of bad coding (how surprising would that be? :D)

Turns out, changing the setting entitled 'Background model detail' to medium, which is probably the PS5 setting, is a complete gamechanger in terms of smoothness, and solves pretty much everything. At the cost of much higher pop-in of course. I am curious to know if it is because of a CPU bottleneck

.... CPU (5900x paired with a 4090), I am getting extremely low 1% (as low as 20FPS) in this game, and a very poor experience.

As I started analyzing it, I noticed this game relies massively on loading assets on the fly, and that all my drops were linked to me moving the camera around my character

Ok I am going to try my first NEWBIE tech analysis and try to predict your own findings (I will probably be wrong but I am trying anyways).

I think this game has no or very little shader compilation stutter.

BUT, either due to what I suspect is a poor DirectStorage implementation, or my aging.....
