Whether the budget is the same or not is a major factor, obviously, but it's not clear to me that the MYF policy will continue by default in FY26. Do we know anything about that? If there is a CR (very likely), they can do whatever Vought wants them to do, presumably?

This rough estimate says FY2025 new R01s should be down by about 26%. If we look at the number actually funded in FY2025, it is down 25% from FY2024, 32% from FY2023 and 34% down from FY2022.
