Been playing Persona5 and I just finished Madarame’s Palace! I do think mechanically the palaces aren’t very interesting as dungeons, at least when compared to like Zelda but for an RPG they have been a decent backdrop for combat. I think the games been steadily good but nothing crazy impressive.

Finished WCI arc in both the Manga & Anime and really enjoyed it. However something that has become clear is that the pacing issues that both though. I understand Oda doesn’t wanna do this for eternity but at times it feels he’s speeding through the story and it kinda suffers for it.

Brothership is on the horizon so I took the time to replay Superstar Saga. Still my favorite entry in the series to this day. It’s super funny, has charming new characters with a cool new world to explore and is a blast to play. With the OG, or the remake you can’t go wrong!

I finished Sonic Dream Team today and it was awesome! While the level design isn’t mind blowing it’s still fun and I really love the mission like collectathon structure the game takes. Also big on Ariem’s design, one of my favorites. Nice to finally see Cream again too. DT was real fun time.

It was Kingdom Hearts 2’s anniversary yesterday. This is easily my in my top 5 and one of the most important games to me on a personal level with how touched I am by Roxas wanting his story to be heard and the trials Sora faced. Combat is also outstanding. Definitely my favorite JRPG to play.

It was Kingdom Hearts 2’s anniversary yesterday. This is easily my in my top 5 and one of the most important games to me on a personal level with how touched I am by Roxas wanting his story to be heard and the trials Sora faced. Combat is also outstanding. Definitely my favorite JRPG to play.
I really love Ouranos Island. The song is perfect at balancing the feeling of looming dread from The End while instilling Hope, the same Hope Sonics friends have for him that he’ll save the day like he always has. Also helps that it’s the biggest island and most interesting to explore in my opinion.
