14 members of religious sect the Saints were found guilty of the manslaughter of 8 year old Elizabeth Struhs… including her father and mother.

They will be sentenced today.

Super easy answer is that people - particularly completely innocent people like Sam Kerr - have a right to justice they are ethically permitted to exercise even if someone else in a different country decides it would make it difficult for a hypothetical victim
