Yeah, I certainly agree there. My posts are mainly targeted at those being overtly hateful; it’s totally fine to disagree or not enjoy the video. I definitely didn’t agree with some of the takes and I feel like there are more charitable ways to look at certain things (like Sora’s arc) and such

In the end: grow up. Stuff like this gives the Ninjago fandom a bad name and makes it seem like a fandom playing host to emotionally immature and hostile children who don’t want to actually think about the media they watch, which is fine so long as you don’t attack those who do.

I still love Dragons Rising but I can recognize it has flaws; if I hear that other people have issues that I don’t agree with, I can engage in respectful discussion about the difference in interpretation or just continue living my life unbothered that someone disagrees with me.

Then I’d say that’s a sign you’re too attached to Ninjago and you need to take a step back. It suggests your enjoyment of the media is contingent upon it being the “popular” opinion if a single YouTube video can throw you into such a disarray and get you so heated. That’s weak.
