Sneak-watched The Shining when it came to HBO in 1981 or so and have been a bit fixated ever since. Fan enough to put off watching the sequel for the certain disappointment that may cheapen Kubrick's work, but I really dug it. 1/2

I can still taste these things. Bought my first Walkman with 'em. VH Eruption was the first play. Glad to remember working hard to own music early on. Still feel it's worth.
