Maybe it's not quite what you're looking for, but this cover is a bad fit because it looks like a cereal box and the game is not about eating cereal.

I played it yesterday after some friends got it for me from Korea. I had no idea you were going to release it in the US! Gah, I’d love to try out the new stuff.

Played Pax Pamir (15th play) and Arcs (4th play) by Cole Wehrle yesterday. I’m ever more impressed by their ability to create engaging emergent narratives. I find it hard to abstract myself from the implications of my decisions, which are often terrible for the inhabitants of the game. #boardgames

Jonas Jones’ 21Moon is such an interesting development in the world of 18xx games. It even feels a bit sandboxy with how many options you have for everything. Tokens, route development, ways of floating, managing personal and company stocks. Def one that’s growing on me. #boardgames

Second play of Bus this week. Witnessed Splotter’s infamous “if you can’t lose a game in the first turn, why have a first turn?” in all its splendor. Was able to thwart yellow and purple in the first two rounds and managed to defend the lead, albeit narrowly, despite a lot of time stopping.

The more I play it the better it gets and more layers are revealed. Right now I’d say it’s not a game about making money for yourself but about preventing others from making it, even if that means a loss for you as well. #boardgames

Last game I played. Stefan Dorra’s Sardegna by Playte and @craftygames.bsky.social is pure OG goodness. A tense tug-of-war between going after what’s valuable right now or setting yourself up for what’s next. Could be billed as a more direct Concordia in 30 mins.
